I have failed
shutting down 4 of my products
its crazy that with programming you can bring any of your product idea into life with effort and time. i also launched multiple products for ideas I got while eating, browsing internet, when trying to sleep at 3AM.
but after trying to grow those products for quite sometime, I realised that those products are not going anywhere.
i was paying for server cost and also maintaining them. it was getting a headache because I wanted to focus on other things that “might“ work instead of keep carrying the baggage of these products.
when deciding that I want to just shutdown these products, its not a simple decision, so many things come to my mind, on what went wrong, am I just unlucky? or am I just bad at entrepreneurship.
but one thing I never did, and that is to give up. i have just keep building things, shutting them down, building again new things. because why stop.
ok so coming back to my 4 failed products. i posted a tweet that I am shutting down these 4 and some people suggested why not try to sell codebase for your pre built ready to deploy products. because "one man's trash is another man's treasure", right?
i decided to sell codebase of 4 of my saas products for just $250, I kept it so low because I know people who might buy them might also on the same boat as me and might be trying multiple products to find what works for them.
you can re-launch (with different name and branding), resell, do whatever you want with the codebase. that copy of codebase is yours.
i am adding link to the page where I have listed them. do check it out. even if you are not interested in buying the codebase, feel free to say hi in my twitter DM. I would love to know about your entrepreneurship journey.
here is the link usearticle.com/white-label
cheers!
